I must admit that the active profiles seem rather scarce on this site (although I was able to meet someone and we are just beginning to move beyond the "Starbucks" encounters). I would gently suggest that you not give up this site, but perhaps join one or two more. There are a lot of gentlemen out there, it will take patience and persistence to come in contact with them! Hope that this is helpful!

You have to make a profile to see everyone else's pictures. A lot of people make the profile because they are curious, look at a few pics, then disappear. Pretty much the same on all dating sites.

I'm wondering the same thing. I received one email from a man and when I responded he then said he's not really on the site anymore?? That doesn't make sense to me.

To PrimoVA: Nothing wrong with being too picky, after all if it's a match these people have to live with their choices....But you shouldn't be insulted because of the comment, it just means this site doesn't work for those women is all. That's all I'm saying.

Seriously? All of them? Now I noticed that you checked my profile out and you haven't initiated any kind of contact with me. I realize that maybe you're not attracted to me, I guess it possible however unlikely it sounds. I'm kidding really. I like to joke around and be a smart ass, but I'm really not that arrogant. But as I was saying. I've actually been told on several occasions that I have one of the most interesting and compelling profiles that certain ladies have ever read. And I've checked out some of the competition. And while sure, the average profile sounds like it was written by a fourteen year old desperate to lose his virginity. There are some real men on this site who actually have honest and intelligent profiles So to say that there are no decent men to be found on this site is a little insulting.
